1. Sony Philippines Inc. (SPH) referred to as "Sony", administers and/or manages the Sony Digital Workshop Courses. To administer and/or manage the Courses, Sony will necessarily need to collect, use, disclose and/or process certain personal data or personal information about the participant in the Course. This notice (“Notice”) is to be intended information on how Sony collects, uses, discloses, processes, manages and handles personal data and collected in connection with the Workshops.
2. Such personal data will be collected, used, disclosed and/or processed by Sony for the purpose(s) of :
  1. Processing, administering and/or managing the customers that register for the course.
  2. Contact customer through phone or emails to:
    1. Confirm successful registration.
    2. Send course reminders.
    3. Send course cancellation information.
    4. Send course re-schedule information.
    5. Send additional information or any changes regarding the course.
    6. Coordinate during the actual day of the course.
    7. Clarification of course payment matters.
    8. Follow-up issued encountered during registration.
    9. Send event announcements, course promotion and activity invites.
    10. Send course attended feedback form that will be used to improve the courses that is being offered.
3. Personal data will/may be disclosed by Sony to, used and/or processed by its related corporations and/or affiliates and/or its third party service providers or agents (whether in Philippines or elsewhere in the world where such service providers or agents are sited) for one or more of the above Purposes.

    Sony Philippines, Incorporated (“the Company”) values and is committed to the protection of Personal Information.     1. Providing customer care and enhancing customer satisfaction, including but not limited to, resolving complaints, dealing with and/or responding to requests and enquiries, warranty, returns and other after sales services;

    4. For internal record keeping, including but not limited to administration, processing, and matching any Personal Information held which relates to you for any of the purposes listed herein;

E. Security of Personal Information
    1. The Company may transfer your Personal Information to any of the Sony Group Companies and/or any third party as set forth in Paragraph 3 above in, including but not limited to Japan, Singapore, UAE, United Kingdom, United States of America, and China. In the event that your Personal Information is transferred to a location outside of Philippines, including those indicated above, the Company shall ensure that confidentiality safeguards have been put in place to ensure your rights to Personal Information protection remains unaffected.
F. Access and Correction
    1. The Personal Information must be accurate, complete, not misleading and kept up-to-date. Should you be made aware of any inaccurate, incomplete or misleading Personal Information or where the Personal Information provided to us earlier have become incorrect or out of date, kindly notify us at the contact provided for in paragraph 9;
    2. You have the right to request access and correct your Personal Information and to withdraw your consent given to us hereunder. Such request however, may be subject to the requirements in the Act and the Company’s request procedure and a prescribed fee as applicable;
G. Retention Standard
    1. Any Personal Information shall not be kept longer than is necessary for the fulfilment of the Purposes abovementioned in Paragraph 2. We shall undertake to ensure that all Personal Information is destroyed or permanently deleted if it is no longer required for the Purposes for which it was to be processed.
