This comprehensive course will guide you through the entire video production process, enabling you to produce a compelling 15-second product video using DaVinci Resolve.
Led by Sony Alpha Creator, Thomas Goh (Instagram: @gottagoh) and facilitated by Sony Digital Workshop, this course offers expert coaching and hands-on experience.
While the course focuses on physical products, the skills you’ll acquire can be applied to various areas of interest, such as lifestyle and destination reviews, and more!
To participate in this training, you should possess:
- Proficiency in operating your camera's interface and exposure settings
- Understanding of video resolution and frame rates
- Bring your camera equipped with a standard zoom lens or a 35 to 50mm (Full Frame equivalent) prime lens for practical exercises.
- Bring your laptop with the free version of Davinci Resolve (Deskptop) installed. (Instructions to download can be found under confirmation email)
- No prior experience with DaVinci Resolve is required to benefit from this class
- All brands are welcome!

- Ideating a storyboard
- Pre-production planning

- Instructor-led Workflow
- Basic product lighting techniques
- Camera Movement
INDOOR PRACTICAL HANDS-ON

- Learners divided into groups of 3s to capture their working footage
DAY TWO
OUTDOOR PRACTICAL HANDS-ON
9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Learners divided into groups of 3s to capture their working footage
- Capture footages based on the client's brief
