Learning Unit 4: Unlocking our Creative Vision through our Gears
This unit introduces how lenses and focal lengths can influence the way we perceive and capture a scene, helping photographers expand their visual vocabulary.
DAY 2: PRACTICAL & REVIEW | 9:30AM to 12PM
Guided Photo-walk
A hands-on shoot at Emerald Hill to apply learned concepts and experiment with different lenses
Photo Review & Group Discussion
Back in the classroom, participants will share and discuss selected images, focusing on intention, use of light, composition, and creative decision-making

Jennice Ong is a passionate photographer whose journey began as a photo enthusiast and evolved into a professional career in 2013, specializing in weddings and event photography. Alongside her professional work, her deep love for street and travel photography has continued to grow.
After embarking on a personal journey of growth and transformation, Jennice began to see her craft in a new light. Today, she focuses primarily on street photography—using it as a medium to tell stories of love, hope, peace, and personal growth. Through her lens, she aims to inspire others to explore their own paths and embrace life’s adventures.
In 2021, Jennice founded Thrjve Photography, combining her passion for visual storytelling with her commitment to mindfulness and self-empowerment.
