Description

Lifestyle Portrait Photography workshop with Michael Chee

This workshop is aimed to all camera enthusiasts that would like to learn not only shooting, but editing as well. To provide a better in-depth study on photography, a review session will be provided so participant can improve on their weaknesses. This workshop is focus on portraiture photography with focal length of 50mm and above.

Session 1: 20 July 2024, Saturday | 4:00pm to 7:30pm | Location: Pantai Morib (Meet-up place will be shared)
 Actual shooting at Morib beach with the guidance and advices from Alpha Guru Michael Chee. The session is to aim to improve the camera operation, setting optimization and communication with the model. (Focus on portrait lens 50mm and above)
 
Session 2: 28 July 2024, Sunday | 1:45pm to 5:00pm | Location: Sony Store, The Curve
A comprehensive session where all the magic of your photo pops up through editing session. This session is to ensure all the knowledge to be applied for the journey.

Pre-Requisite

  • Bring your Own SD Card for lesson 1
  • Encourage to wear long sleeves and bring mosquito repellent for Session 1 at Pantai Morib
  • Laptop with editing software is needed for Session 2 (eg: Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, etc)

Workshop Rundown:

Session 1: 20 July 2024, Saturday | 4:00pm to 7:30pm | Location: Pantai Morib (Meet-up place will be shared)

4:00pm: Registration at Pantai Morib
4:30pm: Briefing + Camera loan
5:00pm: Practical Shooting 1
6:00pm: BREAK
6:10pm: Practical Shooting 2
7:10pm: Debrief and Q&A session
7:20pm: Camera loan return
7:30pm: Session 1 end and head at head to dinner location

 

Session 2: 28 July 2024, Sunday | 10:15am to 1:30pm | Location: Sony Store, The Curve

10:15am: Registration and briefing
10:30am: Photo review
11:30am: BREAK
12:00pm: Photo editing session by Michael Chee
1:00pm: Debrief and Q&A session
1:30pm: Session 2 end
