LEARN WITH SONY: TIME-LAPSE

This is a technical workshop where our Coach, Tripeaksimagery shall teach you essential skills to capturing time-lapse photography.

You will learn:

• Using the camera built-in Interval Shooting Function
• Shutter speed consideration
• Effects of Interval timing 
• Identify time-lapse worthly subjects
• Editing your clips along with Adobe Lightroom and DaVinci Resolve

About your coach: Tripeaksimagery

Individually and together, the Tripeaksimagery duo has created notable timelapses and cinematic films, such as "Graphicity", "A Beautiful Day", "For You I Dance" and "Wildlife of Singapore". Their work projects include corporate videos, cinematic event videos and compelling visual films. Besides being curious filmmakers, they are also adventurous landscape photographers and are animal and environmental activists. They constantly explore beyond their comfort zones and experiment extensively to pursue fresh perspectives. Their photos not only showcase the places that have been untouched by globalisation, but serve as learning experiences on each travel journey.

	Important Notices Course Fees are for coaching services only. Participants are responsible to book and pay for their own transportation or park entry where applicable. Cost of workshop is subsidised for My Sony & SDW members.

 

• To participate, you need to own and use the following Sony α cameras.
  • ILCE-6100 ILCE-6400 ILCE-6600
  • ILCE-7M3 ILCE-7RM3 ILCE-7RM4
  • ILCE-9 ILCE-9M2
  • ILCE-1
  • If you do not have the above Sony camera, we will loan a basic model to you for education purpose.

• A tripod is mandatory.
• Basic understanding of Aperture, Shutter Speed & ISO.
• Able to set camera’s exposure independently.
• During editing session only, a laptop with at least 100GB of free space is required (We recommend SSD for external hard disk use).
  • Download and install Adobe Lightroom (Free trail available)
  • Download and install Davinci Resolve (Free non-studio version available)

The following lens focal length are recommended:

	Full Frame α1, α7, α9 series	Recommended 24-105mm Acceptable with Compromise 28-70mm
	APS-C α6000 series	Recommended 16-70mm Acceptable with Compromise 16-50mm

Do you have the right lens?
Even if you don’t, we will try to arrange a complimentary loan! You are responsible to collect and return the loan item.
Sony will provide additional* telephoto lenses during the practical shoot at One Fullerton.
*Sharing of equipment is not allowed during this period.
