Based in the heart of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, a city that thumps splendid vigour in every beat is Aisha Nazar, a professional photographer who embarked on a visual journey since 2016. Apart from commercial work, Aisha displays great ardour in the art of narration delivered through a medium of kaleidoscopic images that blend unique cultural practices around the globe with a documentary-style approach that uses distinctive compositions to attract and thus, educate her audience. In 2018/19, Aisha was named the first AirAsia & Sony Joint Ambassador. She is now a Sony Alpha Guru and a Co-founder of Women Photographers Malaysia (WPM), a photographic community that aims to empower and motivate female visual makers within the industry in Malaysia. “I’m a full-time photographer who was born in Perak, Malaysia 59 years ago. My favorite genres are human interest, portraiture, street and travel photography. When I capture a photo, I wanted my “images” to reach out and touch the hearts of viewers with a sense of “emotion”. Thus, creating an emotional “connection” between the viewer and myself. Thus came about my personal tagline of “Images ? Emotion ? Connection”. I am a photography enthusiast based in Kuala Lumpur. Started in photography in 2010 mainly in landscape photography, I have become a product ambassador for photography filter and tripod in December 2018 and later, become a SONY Alpha Guru for Landscape in February 2020. I hold a certificate in Photography by Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Human Resources. My forte is in landscape, cityscape, travel, astrophotography, and architectural photography, both in single exposure as well as high dynamic range (HDR) photography. I have also successfully conducted several photography trips to Iceland, New Zealand, and Indonesia, from 2015 until 2019. Apart from travel photography, I do some commercial photography jobs shooting from building interiors and exteriors for marketing brochures and corporate profiles as well as personal one-to-one workshops and training for those wanting to learn more of HDR photography and photography in general. In 2019, I have been involved in bird photography, which takes me around Malaysia in search of the exotic birds of Malaysia. All my photography works have been documented in Flickr. Muar born, Salleh in Sheikh Ibrahim first became interested in photography when he borrowed his father’s camera for a school trip in 90s. Got his first DSLR in 2005 and like most other photo enthusiast, he started off with taking portraits, landscapes, streets, weddings, still lifes and some of his photos has earned him several places in photography competitions. Finally, in 2015 after migrated to Sony system, he ventured into wildlife photography with a special interest in birds. His interest for this genre has gradually developed in the following years and it finally become a passion in his photography journey. Sony is like a family to me, i’m join Sony Alpha as a trainer in 2011. In the past few years, I have travel almost everywhere to Malaysia to conduct photography workshops. No matter where you go, you can be sure that every workshop will be warmly welcomed. My photography journey 1998- is the year beginning of my photography jouney. I learned to use film to shoot at the college. That mysterious camera hooting, effects and photography darkroom made me more interested in photography. Slowly learn under the failed and tried shooting, learn how to see and understand the light. I graduated Bechelor Degree in Computer Advertising Design in New Zealand and joined a local college after graduation. Because of my good grades and strong interest in photography, the school added photography to my teaching subject. In 2004, i left the education industry and joined the photo studio. 2008 a turning point in my life and started my own business and founded stardeer image. At that time, I was still very confused, without a clear goal and concept. In 2013, i’m participated in the International Photography Competition, World Photography Awards (WPO) for the first time in my life and was recognised Top 50 images in the Arts and Culture Category in Open Competition Several years of shooting and experience i’m joining MPA UK in 2014. In recent years, won several excellent photography awards in MPA In order to better educate the next generation, I worked as a part-time photography teacher in the university during the entrepreneurial period.
